Rust Ultimate — Setup Guide

This is a step-by-step setup guide explaining how to properly inject Rust Ultimate.

Requirements (Important)

• Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
• Administrator access
• Steam logged in
• Windows Defender & Firewall disabled
• Recommended: HWID Spoofer (Spoof before launching loader)

Setup Steps

1. Disable Windows Antivirus via Virus & Threat Protection settings.
2. Disable Firewall & Network Protection (Turn all three off).
3. Disable App & Browser Control (Turn off all reputation-based protection options).
4. Download and extract Defender Control (Password: sordum).
5. Run dControl.exe and disable Windows Defender.
6. (Optional but recommended) Spoof your HWID before continuing.
7. Download and launch the Rust Ultimate loader.
8. If prompted, install and run Overwolf.
9. Rust will automatically launch if Steam is open.

Troubleshooting

• Loader says “Please Launch Overwolf”: Install and open Overwolf before retrying.
• Loader will not open: Ensure Windows Defender, Firewall, and SmartScreen are fully disabled.
• Game does not launch: Make sure Steam is running and logged in.
• Still having issues: Reboot your PC and retry the steps.
