Dayz Lite Setup Guide

Follow the steps below to get Kernaim working on your system:

Downloads

1. Download the loader: Click here

2. Download our support tool: Click here

IMPORTANT: Make sure everything in the support tool shows green before downloading the loader.

Setup Instructions

1. Download and install Microsoft Visual C++.
2. Uninstall any antivirus software. Simply deactivating it is not enough.
3. Disable Real-Time Protection in Windows Defender using the tool: Defender Control.
4. Close all games and launchers (Steam, Origin, Battle.net, etc.), and disable any overlay software (Discord, Geforce Experience, MSI Afterburner, MedalTV, etc.).
5. Disable both Game Mode and GPU Acceleration in your Windows settings.
6. Ensure that the game or launcher is not started with admin privileges.

First Start

1. Download the loader and move it to your USB flash drive.
2. Run the loader as admin and log in with your key (provided in your purchase email).
3. Click on "Start" and wait for the success popup.
4. Once successful, close the loader and safely remove your USB from your PC.
5. Open the launcher, then start your game.
6. Ensure your game is set to "Borderless" or "Windowed" in the settings.

Essential Troubleshooting

• Restart your computer and retry the steps.
• If needed, reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ from here.
• Completely disable Windows Defender using the tool from Defender Control.
• Uninstall any other antivirus software, including Windows Defender.
• Remove any anti-cheat programs like FaceIt, Vanguard, ESEA, which may be running in the background.
• Disable any overclocking programs and remove software like MSI Afterburner. Reset your BIOS settings to default if necessary.
• Ensure Secure Boot is disabled in your BIOS settings.
• Disable Memory Integrity in Windows Device Security - Core isolation.
• Make sure your Windows is fully up to date (Windows 11 is recommended).
